Tutor Village is operated by Academy At Home Inc., which has been in operation since 2003. Academy At Home is owned and operated by Tony Aitken, with over 20 years of experience in business and marketing, and Helen Gibson, with over 40 years of experience in teaching, tutoring and educational writing.
Our first business success, Academy At Home, is a tutoring service that hires college/university students and sends them to people’s homes to tutor them in a variety of subjects like Math, English and Science for grades 1 through 12.
Based on the success of our in-home tutoring service, we next launched a web-based business called The Wealthy Tutor. The Wealthy tutor sells Complete Business Startup kits to people who want to start their own tutoring business, whether a store-front tutoring centre, at-home tutoring business, or an online tutoring service. Our business startup kits include everything that we developed for our own business and more! This includes business and tutoring guides, forms, templates, tutor management system, training videos, consulting help and much more!
